I would honestly ditch the Mazuri. It's not required and has pretty low quality.

What would be much better for boosting the protein of the Vita Garden would be Pure Bites - shrimp, chicken, and turkey are some really good ideas for that. Applaws does have some suitable options available at Petco but that would be a wet food so it isn't as convenient and can spoil. Plain boiled egg would also be a good choice, but again has the similar issue of potentially going off in the cage that Applaws cat foods do. Stick with high quality protein sources without unnecessary additives and such!
