Re: When is the End? The Hardest Decision
The ears pressed back can often be a clue that they are uncomfortable or in pain. It happened to our last hamster who would sit hunched in her cage with her ears back, and not responding when we spoke to her. She was less than a year old, but the vet's advice was to put her to sleep. It's a hard decision to make, but the final act of love.
