Default Re: Ex-owner looking for cage advice

Hey. I'm still new to this so please take my advice with a grain of salt.

I've recently got a hamster as well and wanted to share a few things, it might be common knowledge lol

- I'm from the u.k. as well and I found fitch paper bedding to be a good cheap alternative to the stuff they have in pet shops/online, they do free delivery and do 10kg for 22 quid!
- visit a asda or morrisons before visiting the pet shop or buying online, most of the time I find they have the same products for cheaper. Things like seeds, harry hamster mix, treats. Some grocery stores even have toys.
- just because it's for a hamster doesnt mean it's safe. It's sad but I bought a wood house, and a wood multi chamber and both had a piece of metal sticking out on the inside.

Thanks for taking care of our elderly!
