I'm wondering if I need to give my dwarf ham Freya any extra bedding material? Just now, half her cage is filled with a deep layer of Kaytee Clean and Cosy. A few time I have tried adding some torn up while toilet paper, but she hasn't been interested because the Kaytee is softer. Do I need to give her anything else? Also, is shredded coloured tissue paper okay to put in her enclosure? I like the coloured varieties of Clean and Cosy, but can't find any online just now, they don't sell Kaytee at all in the local pet store, and I'd rather not buy the lavender variety as the reviews say it is heavily scented.
Grateful for any tips or advice.
