Could she have gotten to the bottom of the cage, but kept on trying to dig, so that she was clawing really hard at the bottom of the cage? I once had a hamster that got a terrible chunk out of his tail, I never found any blood or anything that he could have scraped it on, but it never happened again. (I'm not saying that it will never happen again with Yasmin.)
