How about the living world Eco Habita - medium on Amazon - around the same price as a marrakesh but bigger. I did some adaptions to mine to make it safe for any hamster species. But some people don't bother.

Depending on hamster species, there is also the large zoozone cage - maybe not high enough for syrians (height of wheel may be an issue) - it wouldn't be my first choice, but needs must at the moment as there are serious lack of affordable, decent sized cages. You will need to add mesh to the lid.
