Yes, he looks like a hybrid to me and the name really suits him. I have three hybrids myself and they all have very different personalities.
Aside from fresh veg you'll need to feed him a good dwarf hamster mix available from Rodipet, Getzoo, Zooplus or ratrations for example. You probably fed your Robos a similar mix anyway.
I'd say that in general Hybrids are easier to handle than Robos because they're not as fast but aside from that there isn't much of a difference regarding care.
Best to avoid fruit because of the sugar and sugar or honey based snacks but apart from that they eat the same as other hamster species. They love dried mealworms for treats.

Looking forward to see more of Winter. He looks lovely and seems to have a temperament to match.
