Default Re: Hamster Panting and Purple Spots on Stomach

In my opinion if she were to become unable to eat and move around and was just lying there but still breathing that would be critical and you would need a vet to release her from any pain urgently. They can linger some time in that situation. What is she currently like? Is she happy and doing hamstery things? A pyometra can sometimes rupture or as toxins build up in the system they do become very ill.
I don't know what she is like currently so I can't really judge however if you have any concerns I would have a recheck as I know our vets are closed from 3 on Xmas eve then emergency only really until the Monday. Emergency out of hours at our vet is £170
consultation!
