I can confirm that they're both female.

I would echo Cypher's comment about separating them, Chinese Hamsters don't tend to do well in pairs and can often fight very viciously if not separated at the early signs of problems and females on a whole seem to be more likely to fall out than males.

It sounds to me like the hoarding could be down to a territorial behaviour to prevent Sushi from getting to the food so the behaviour may settle once they're separated however I tend to find that my hamsters that are more inclined to stash food will often stash more in the winter months.
