My winter white hybrid hamster Ace has quite long nails and I was wanting to trim them somehow. Unfortunately, she is very wriggly and refuses to sit still and whenever I try, she exhibits signs of stress. My vet also won't trim them because of covid.
I've tried putting rocks in her cage to try and wear them down but nothing seems to be working. I was wondering if anyone has any advice? They do not seem to be causing her any discomfort at the moment but I do not want it to get to that point.
