Default Re: Rodipet alternatives for dwarf

I find mine tend to leave some of the millet in my mix & when I initially made it with some of the tiny seeds like grass seeds & some of the other really small seeds that are in the rodipet mix they never ate those, it might be worth trying the bunny mix but to be honest I think a ham that’s picky with the rodipet mix is unlikely to be impressed! If you do decide to try it just add a little of the new food in with the Rodipet one & gradually increase the amount if he likes it over. period of a couple of weeks.
There are other German mixes from Mixerama & Getzoo which are good to but they are also quite similar to the Rodipet one & delivery costs are much higher so there isn’t much of an alternative.
As Serendipity said he may be eating enough of the mix even though he seems to leave quite a bit, is his wieght ok? If it is you may not need to worry.
