My sweet little Presley passed away a few days ago. She was such a good little hamster. I’ve never had one like her. When she came out of her cage, all she’d want to do was lay down and cuddle me because of this we formed a very close bond. Unfortunately, on Thursday I got home from work and noticed a treat I had put in her treat the night before hadn’t been eaten which was very unlike her. It looked as if she went peacefully in her sleep, but that doesn’t make it much easier.

To be honest, I’m feeling a bit on the guilty side about it all. I’ve been really busy the past two weeks between work, school, and I recently got a new hamster that I’ve been trying to tame, so it had been a few days since I had taken her out to play. It makes me wonder had I taken her out would I have noticed she was sick or something and been able to help.

Rest easy, Presley. I hope you’re having some fun over the rainbow bridge. I love you. 🌈
