Hi everyone! I have a Syrian hamster, Lu (or Big Lu as my gf and I like to call her) and I’m trying to figure out what would be a safe option for sealing her wooden hideouts. Someone mentioned Plastikote online but then I found conflicting reviews about it. Same for Modge Podge and Elmers Glue. I have spent an insane amount of money buying her new wooden houses every time they get ruined because she doesn’t like the plastic ones or the grass huts that are available. Please help! I refuse to deprive her of the things she likes but the money is starting to add up and I just want to be able to seal the wood. Even if it’s only temporary, or if I have to re-apply it occasionally. It would help immensely. Thank you so much in advance for any suggestions!
