Hi! I'm a new user of this forum and have one male syrian short haired hamster who is 7 months old.

I give him Whimzee chew toys and usually buy the green colour, however my dad came home with a red chew for Gubby. I read somewhere that they contained paprika extract and are therefore unsafe, is this true? and if the red ones are unsafe, is the green the only safe one or is the yellow also alright? Thanks
