So funny about the salad. I have never had chirupping with a hamster - it must take some deciphering! Maybe there was something she wasn't keen on in the salad? Although I can't see what would not appeal to a hamster! I know ours can get a bit miffed if you put something in the cage that they consider shouldn't be in that place! Or maybe it was just - thank you but you woke me up so I'll eat it later. Did she eat it in the end?
