I’ve never experienced any of my hams having coloured pee from eating anything, even beetroot so it is probably less likely to be that.
Older hams do often develop kidney problems (which can be helped a little by reducing protein in the diet when they’re older) but it could be a UTI, they’re quite common in hams & they are so good at. hiding the signs of being unwell it may be hard to tell without a urine test.
I’m sure the vet will be able to advice you anyway, hope it’s nothing too serious &. he’ll be ok.
