Hamster doesn't use her pouches?
About a month ago I adopted a one year old female Syrian from a rescue and I have still not seen her use her pouches at all. She also does not store food in her nest like my previous hamsters did. She leaves everything in her food bowl. If I put food somewhere else in her cage she moves it to her food bowl by carrying it in her mouth. She also seems to be quite a picky eater and leaves a lot of food uneaten including treats that my previous hamsters loved. I was concerned that she may not be eating enough but her weight has not changed since I got her so I guess she must be eating. She seems healthy otherwise and is very active and very friendly. But could there be something wrong with her pouches causing her to not use them?
