I have coconut fibre soil which I would like to include in my boy's cage for a different texture. Though using plastic goes against my desire to have a natural setup I have Trixie litter trays (medium size as I have a syrian) and will purchase another for the soil to keep the cage clean and the soil (largely) contained.

As for the bendy bridge, one end of one of my bridges broke off, so I used Aqua Mate silicon to glue on a bit of plastic board clip (I am really failing at eliminating plastic) which grips the shelves of my boy's cage and leaves no gaps for limbs to get trapped.
