Default Re: Live moss on a cage?

Hi! I've been checking the humidity inside the cage, I placed the thermometer on the soil and i've been taking notes to see the diferences.

The day I placed the thermometer in we had a storm, it got to 74% humidity while the one outside the cage was at 70%.

For the next two days it was around 3 - 4 points higher than the one outside but i think it might be because of how hight the humidity rised the stormy day, since then it dropped to only 1 - 2 points higher.

The soil is pretty much drie and the cage has good ventilation since the upgrade i made, do you think I should remove part of the soil? He is still sleeping on it most of the day, maybe instead of making the soil area smaller i could just remove part of it so it would be smaller in height and i supous it would prevent it from retaining humidity?
