I mean, I do use that chinchilla sand.. from pets at home called tiny friends farm, I've heard mixed things about it... as supposedly they changed the formula.. so made it more dusty etc.. Left it in for awhile.. but it never has bothered him, tbh he barley uses it, he sometimes goes and digs in the sand for a moment then back out again.


I did think about play sand, but heard it's a process as you have clean it, and bake it in the oven..

I've heard people doing that even if dry or clean to be safe anyway, but not had an issue with the tiny farms brand... also the thing on his ankle.. is disappearing so think he's good.
