Default New hamster sitting in corner

Hello, I got a hamster 4 days ago. He has a very large tank—684 sq in—and plenty of hideouts and chews. Today, he started showing a new behavior. After running on his wheel, he comes to the corner that’s closest to my desk, which I am frequently at, or to the adjacent corner, and sits with his belly and legs pressed to the glass. He just sits there and makes occasional clicking noises. I thought it might be because he’s trying to cool down, but I wasn’t sure.
He also makes clicking noises when he lies down in his wheel after running for a bit, or when he’s exploring his hideouts. I saw online that it can either mean contentment or a respiratory infection. The noises aren’t constant, just occasional. Does anyone know what these behaviors mean?
