Goodnight, Latte - Her life story
Latte was a cream and white Syrian hamster. This is for her. <3
It all started on a warm August day. I had done lots of research and decided it was time to get my new hamster. I had actually gone to get a Roborovski, but the second I saw her, I just had to bring her home. I brought her home and put her in her cage- an Aqueon 40 Gallon Breeder tank. After a few days, I began the taming process, which in the end was unsuccessful. She took a treat from me, and off my hand, but never got comfortable with being picked up. I tried to give her the best life. Cucumber sundaes, yum! A homemade playpen, yes! A nice 12-inch wheel, she was on it all night. And in the end, she passed of old age. Considering all the illnesses and injuries hamsters die of, this was a successful little life for her. I buried her in my backyard. Latte, I hope you are happy in Hammy Heaven, and making lots of friends. We love you.
