I used to use kaytee clean and cosy and everything was fine but, I then started to find hard bits, staples and in one bag I found a plaster with dried blood on it which horrified. I always went through it before putting it in the cage. But, everyone is different. I returned those bags to p@h and I was given a full refund. I've now gone back to carefresh.
Give kaytee a try, your batch could be different.
