No, I agree; I don't make a habit of taking them to the vets if they don't seem ill, but after the rapidly mounting costs of Cadmium's RI's I wanted to get pet insurance in case he has any problems, so had to have an initial health check. Given the two deaths so close together as well, it was a relief to be told he was in good health too.
