Like you said you have only had her a few days, with some hamsters it can take a while to get used to new sounds and smells and know there is no danger. I would give her more time, see how she is doing when you have had her a week or so.
With my latest Syrian Twinkle, when I first got him he shot back in his house at the slightest sound or movement, and I wouldn't see him for another hour or so if that. Also when it got to the point that I could hand feed him and he would climb into my hand to come out, as soon as I put him back he shot back into his house. It took him about 2 months to stop this, his house was obviously his safe place. He still has his moments, especially when he is a sleepy head, but for the most part he is happy to come out in his cage now when I am in the same room.
