I am sure he will settle, start very very slowly with taming, in fact if the terrarium only has top access I would wait until he is 100 percent happy in his tank with no shaking, as putting your hand in the top may scare him as that’s where birds of prey would come from to eat him. personally I would just sit in the room talking to him regularly just for a few minutes at a time until he stops shaking. perhaps others will have some advice about taming in a terrarium. He might be overwhelmed my the size of his environment right now, can you use grass mats/hammocks (Trixie do them in the UK) to make a false ceiling which is lower and perhaps put around the edges so he can’t see through, or just clean plain cardboard. Maybe seeing through the glass makes him feel exposed, as if there’s nothing there??
