It's a long time since I've taken a picture of Charlie's flower bed. Since the photos last June the whole garden has been very much neglected after I was away a lot last summer and autumn when my Mum was ill and dying. It was a sorry state. Today I tidied it up and weeded it - not much in there yet but some nice primroses, the creeping rose bush has crept a bit further, the heather is not quite in flower, the potentilla bush is just starting to come alive and the grape hyacinths have just finished flowering. The primroses are wild primroses, not garden centre hybrids
