The photo of your sleeping hamster is brilliant!

I'd take one platform out because it will free up more space. There are so many things available to set up a barred cage like a smaller, wooden corner platform, long Trixie ladders, degus shelves, sputniks, suspended rat sized tunnels etc. Have a look on the "Let's see your cages" thread on the Forum under Housing.

As for wheels, all my hamsters have this wheel which comes in two different sizes and runs very smoothly and quietly. I buy it in a petshop but i don't know if its available online. Not to be mistaken with the Savic Rolly which is not a good wheel at all.
