He goes on this all the time and he absolutely loves it but lately he has been going crazy biting the bars and I am worried as this is really unusual.

Hey I'm a hamster newbie but I've watched crazy amounts of videos on them and anytime I've heard of that it's usually "cage rage" sometimes they do outgrow their cage it's a normal problem for all animals you should do read up on it! Hope this helps, Mel.
