Hi Ami. Vetoryl is not actually licensed for Hamsters - just for dogs I think. It shouldn’t be given without a confirmed diagnosis from a vet via blood test and the vet would decide in the dosage (which would be tiny). Please don’t medicate your hammy yourself. If you start a new thread about the medical concerns for your hammy we can make a few suggestions. Cushings is actually supposed to be quite rare in hamsters and many symptoms can be caused by other things. Let us know what problems your hammy is having and how old he/she is - there may be other causes or solutions for any symptoms. Most vets can’t take blood from hamsters as they have such tiny veins so diagnosis can be a range of other symptoms. But symptoms like hair loss can also be other things.
