My new detolf is almost ready - lids made, varnished outside and plastikoted inside, but we are struggling to find suitable mesh. Other half came home the other day with inch-wide mesh, and thought we could put two offset layers together to divide each inch square into 4. Would that be okay? Alternatively, what size mesh would you use for a winter white dwarf? She could be quite small when she arrives as I asked for a young one. If you have any suggestions where I could buy suitable mesh online I'd be really grateful, as we don't have many options of where to buy locally on our remote Scottish island.

The only other thing we are waiting for now is the hammy. With the recent storms lots of ferry sailings were cancelled, so they postponed sending them, and by the time the storms were over the A9 was snowed up! Hoping I get her before she's in her dotage!
