Might be good if you started a new thread Ben - about your hammy and his Barney cage. Then you can just add and update us! A lot of people have a particular thread for their hamster and keep updating it with news and photos. When you think of a name it could be "name's" thread! Apparently a 150g syrian will fit in the cube (which is quite small). Any toys check for splinters and nails as well (surprising how many have hazards!). My cheese cube was fine but some had issues with sharp metal bits or nails. Since having hamsters I have a sheet of sandpaper around!
