Yeah, I have that! I think it's great. Although with my last hamster I ended up not using the lid and using a bendy bridge for a roof instead. He liked pushing it up from the inside with his nose. The cage was in my bedroom and good lord it was loud when it crashed!

I place the house on the floor of the cage and put substrate in and around it because I worried about the weight too. I also use a bendy bridge as a wall to stop outside bedding blocking the door. I'd say just make sure they have other burrowing options elsewhere in the cage too.
