With the severe decrease in quality and huge price increase, I've sworn off it for good, and have been looking for alternatives while I wait for when I can bring new hammies into my home.
So far I've found a teabag bedding from petbeddinguk, but my other options seem to be shredding kitchen towel myself, or going back to using wood shavings or hemp, as I have two 100x50 cages with rather deep bases to fill, so costs add up.
Erin's animals recently posted a video on DIY bedding using napkins and kitchen roll. Put it through a shredder and it can be colorful too. So if you are doing a colour theme and/ want something cheap that's definitely an option.
