Update: I haven't had much time to try and handle her since my last post, mainly due to her being up way later than normal. She tends to change her schedule a lot or hide in her nest while awake. I did see her this morning so I talked to her for a bit (she seemed somewhat startled at the sudden noise after a long night of silence). Yesterday she took a treat I offered to her and then vanished again, so at least that's progress. She seems to be kind of going back and forth in her progress, as if she has confidence shifts. I'll just continue to be patient with her and hope she'll soon be confident enough to at least sit on my hand.
