Tonight I had a sudden thought that I would like to capture my hamsters paw prints as she walks across a canvas and then paint her name alongside the paw prints (i would attempt to paint her but i’m a lousy artist). anyways, my question is what would be the best medium to dip her paws in before she walks across the canvas? i have done some research and if seems people use food coloring or watered down non-toxic paint. The non-toxic paint seems like a really bad idea to me, even if I wipe her paws after I still don’t want to risk her ingesting paint, ick! The food coloring seems like a safer bet, but I also want to check to see what you guys think before I go ahead and do it, as I wanna make sure I’m not putting her health at risk.
