One thing I feel you should know, make sure you have a place for them to go when they become of age in 4 weeks. Try and set up adoptions or find a place you can surrender them too. When my dwarf had an unexpected littler I completely forgot to find a place for all of them and I had to have PetCo take them off my hands.
