Out of cage time would definitely help as being confined to her cage all day, even though it's big, would certainly stress her out and/or bore her. Out of cage time e.g on a couch gives any hamster a lot more room to run around and it is also a great time to bond with her.

Having a lot of toys to run through, around and over in her cage would definitely be good for her as well.
