Hi everyone!

I very recently adopted a shorthair Syrian hammy named Blondie. The internet has proven to be a giant help with learning how to care for her. I kept googling questions and ending up here, so I decided I should probably make an account in case I have questions that haven’t been answered!

She is currently in a cage that’s much too small but in the next week or so I’ll be upgrading her to a Detolf. It’s currently past 1 AM where I am and I can hear her running on her wheel. It’s been about three days and I am already astonished by her bold personality.

This seems like a wonderful community and I’m so excited to be a part of it. I had no idea how madly in love I was going to fall with my baby. I might end up a hamster addict. LOL
