Hello
I have a Robo she is only a few months old. I noticed in the last few weeks she has a large bald spot on her chest.
I removed any items that may be rubbing on her. I've only had her since September and I use Kaytee brand bedding. Could she be allergic?
At first I thought maybe mites but she has no hair loss any where else.
Could she just be over grooming? If it itched I would assume it would be raw and bloody or scabs and she doesn't have anything like that.
Can anyone offer any suggestions? She does have a sand bath, should I remove it in case its causing irritation?
She has also gotten really fat and that area is where her chub rubs!
could that be causing a problem?
I will take here to a vet if it gets worse or doesn't stop. She is very skittish and I cant even pick her up yet and I don't want to upset her unless its necessary.
