It’s hilarious how differently Arthur and Edward’s taming process went. Arthur was exactly the typical hamsters you see on YouTube and I tamed him exactly by the textbook - treats by fingers, then palm, then bath. So calm and easy. Edward, on the other hand, is so hyper that he’ll literally be so focused on exploring/running/escaping that he’ll climb right onto my hand without a care in the world. I wish I could ask him if everything’s okay and he’s just a really hyper hamster lol. He’s got a decent sized cage, lotsssss of bedding, a 12 inch wheel and loads of chews/hideouts/treats. Hamsters are complex lil animals (I say while Edward is trying to climb on top of his water bottle for the 500th time in half an hour)
