Re: Male or Female??
I had male hamsters when i was a kid, totally chilled out hamsters, cuddles, sit in my dressing gown pockets, just lay on my bed etc. As an adult i have only had female hamsters, it was a shock at first, as it was nothing like I remembered as a child. I couldn't understand it, it was only when a friend pointed out how crazy her female hamsters were when she was a kid, that i read up on it a bit more. Now I understand the female behaviour a bit better, I love it. I like watching their crazy antics when they are free roaming. I think even if you got a male, it's not going to be a guarantee whether that it will be chilled out and cuddly. I've had no problem taming either my female or male hamsters.
