I have a flying saucer and a 6.5 inches for my dwarf hamster. He is still a baby and weighs about 25 grams at the moment. He loves the flying saucer but he goes so fast in it he gets thrown around violently and I’m afraid he will get brain damage from it in the long run.

So I gave him the 6.5 inches silent spinner instead. The flying saucer is now in his park, for short time usage. At first he had trouble turning the wheel, as he is so small but he got better at it (and he grew a little) and now he can turn it fine and he enjoys it.
