I know, odd question, but I need an answer...

I’ve had my hamster for 8 days. Every morning when I get up I wash Nuage’s wheel, give him fresh water and food. The wheel is always soiled with urine.

Every 2-3 days I spot clean. I see piles of poop, but no urine, except once there was urine on his paper roll. He has a sand bath and he goes in it, but I haven’t seen any urine in it so far. I’ve checked every corner of the cage and pretty much everywhere. I know he drinks plenty, I see him everyday.

Is it possible that he only pees in his wheel ? If not, where should I be looking ?
