Ive just gone through a journey of researching and asking lots of questions. My cage is lovely but if I could have it all over again and I had space like you do I would go for something with glass so that you can pack it 10inches and more with bedding. The more bedding the better for burrowing. People use the Samla largest bin size but you have lots of space so look for something the same size as the Ikea detolf cage or bigger. There are amazing large glass areas for hamsters on the market. Have fun learning all you can. It's so so worth it!
