You sound like you had a really rough time with Murmel. No wonder you are feeling a bit over protective now which is a good thing though.
What happened to Murmel? If you'd rather not share this story that's perfectly fine. I'm just being plain nosey because you mentioned that he had a head injury and pulled through. He must be a strong and well looked after hamster.
