Hamster Central - View Single Post - Hamster has been awake all day and just hissed/squawked?

Hello everyone,

I am a new hamster parent to a lovely female Syrian called Tilly. I've had her for just over a week and today she's been awake all day and just made an angry nose (similar to the nodes she made on the day I adopted her, as I was informed she'd been very poorly liked after in get original home) she hasn't made this house since the day I got her. Today is the first day I've stayed home all day, and I've been doing some light housework. I don't really see why she'd have stayed awake all day though, and the nose has made me even more confused.
