Hi all,
I recently bought some storage cubes on eBay to turn into a playpen for my hamster because I saw it on YouTube - it looked like a really good idea and I’ve seen loads of bad reviews for the wire playpens, so I thought this would be the best option (I can’t let her free roam because I rent the house I live in so I can’t fully hansterproof it).
I put her in the pen and straight away she chewed through the plastic 😩it is HUGE (I made it massive - almost the same size as my living room) so I can’t see why she feels the need to escape

I’m now on the lookout for either a) a solution from anyone else who has used storage cubes as a playpen or b) a playpen recommendation which is chew proof because she will literally chew anything and everything (except the 20 chew toys I bought for her&#128579
