Okay so tomorrow marks one week since Poppy arrived, she’s a Russian dwarf. From day one she wanted to climb in my hands, even without a treat, it was too much too early IMO so I didn’t keep her out of the cage for more than a couple minutes. I’m slowly letting her stay out more, always making sure she’s not showing signs of stress. So yesterday at around 7pm Poppy played and ate a few seeds while out with me then suddenly stopped and using my pinky as a pillow she fell asleep in my legs. I freaked out thinking maybe she was sick or something but she returned to her nightly activities until morning and got up for her afternoon snack. All normal. So should I be worried or just appreciate the cuteness? So far she has been very friendly but also very active and curious while out.
