Is this stargazing?
My new baby is a dwarf Russian (probably mix). I got her last Wednesday and she’s so kind and curious she’ll climb in my hands treat free and be fine with petting, she’s active and walks all over me when handled. She loves to make tunnels and figured out her sand bath in the first try, as for the wheel she tries but it’s not great, she won’t run super fast without stopping like I’m used to see. Ever since she first got here she has this habit of standing in her back legs and falling on her back. It only happens when she’s in her cage, and not very frequent, she can enjoy her stuff without this happening. it kinda looks like she’s trying to sniff the air or climb the aquarium walls. She’s what I’d expect from a hamster but much more friendly I just found out stargazing is a thing so I’m a bit worried. At first she just seems a little clumsy, but aren’t all hamsters supposed to be?
